About Us
To establish and sustain the operations of Unexpected Journey, we are seeking funding of $1 million to secure a physical location, acquire necessary supplies and bedding, hire staff, and cover operational costs. This funding will enable us to provide a safe and supportive environment for women and their children in need.
Organizational Structure
Founder/CEO
Responsible for overall strategic direction, fundraising, partnerships, and organizational leadership.
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Offer individual and family therapy, mental health support, and case management.
Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (CPRP) Professionals
Deliver ongoing support and rehabilitation services to program participants.
Family Peers
Individuals who have overcome similar challenges, providing mentorship and support.
College Interns
Assist with program activities, education support, and other duties as needed.
Housing Support Staff
Assist with housing arrangements and ensuring suitable accommodation for program participants.
Financial Assistance Team
Provide training in financial literacy, assistance with securing employment, and access to resources for certification programs.
Administrative Staff
Responsible for day-to-day operations, coordination, and administrative tasks.
